Saturday morning started early for Mount Carmel firefighters as they were dispatched to a possible basement fire around 07:30 on Beech Street. Turned out to be a "good intent" call with nothing found at the building. Units were in service about 20 minutes. About an hour later Stations 2 & 4 were dispatched for a rekindle at 5th & Spruce Streets. Units were in service for about an hour. Then after cleaning up and leaving the scene, a mva occurred in the intersection of 5th & Spruce with no injuries. Shortly after that Stations 1, 3, & 5 were called out for a carbon monoxide investigation. Units were in service about 30 minutes.
