On Wednesday as the 2House members were preparing for training their tones rang for a fully involved garage fire. Engines 2 & 3 secured water supplies as Chief 1 took command and Borough Chief 4 had operations. Engines 1 & 4, Truck 2, and Rescue 5 personnel assisted with manpower. Crews had to deal with Acetylene and propane cylinders venting from their relief blowoffs, as well as, the large volume of fire in the garage and vehicle inside the garage. 2House was in service about two hours while 3 and 5 were in service about three hours.
